Video: Mufulira Wanderers, Lumwana in ‘juju’ claims

Mufulira Wanderers players over the weekend had to squeeze themselves via a small gate in North Western Province.

The players were avoiding the main entrance for reasons best known to themselves.

This happened over the weekend during Wanderers’ 1-1 draw against Trident in the National First Division.

In a separate incidence, Lumwana Radiants players also opted to jump over the gate in their Zambian Super League against Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

A Chilimba Moonga brace gun down Bilton Musonda’s Lumwana Radiants 2-1.

  1. Primitive thinking what if the player is injured by jumping the gate made of iron sheets. After why didn’t you win the game. Ngamuli makula ninshi muli makula look for good players, play good football, score goals nothing else. Stop ubututu

  2. When I used to live in Mufulira in the 70s and 80s such a thing was never associated with Mighty. Profund Warriors Yes. I think because Mighty were succesful, winning silverware in those days they never paid attention to superstitions but now that the tables have been turned and they are no longer the giants of Zambian football they are looking for excuses for their failures. You see how failure breeds witchcraft. Ask yourself why those moving coffins are found only in certain areas of the country. Why dont we see one of them at Leopards Hill Cemetery?
