Mwepu scored a brace in Cadiz reserve side’s win
The 23 year old former Chambishi and Kafue Celtic grabbed his first goal of the day in the 24th minute.
He then completed his brace 10 minutes later as Cadiz II beat Xerez Deportival 3-0 in a week 26 match.
Mwepu’s has 6 league goals from 19 appearances. He has started 8 games with 11 coming off the bench.
The Zambian youngster is slowly regaining his match sharpness in Spain after he joined from Austrian side Sturm Graz.
Mwepu joined Sturm Graz from Kafue Celtic but picked up a bad injury that kept him out of season.
Cadiz II is a reserve side for Cadiz.
Cardiz are currently in playing La Liga while Cadiz II are in the reserve side.
Mwepu’s compatriot Peter Chikola wasn’t in the match day squad. Chikola returned from international duty with the Zambia Under-20.
He joined Cadiz from Kafue Celtic after a short stint in Croatia.
