Tanzania Women’s National Team have arrived in the country for this Sunday’s international friendly with Zambia.
The Twiga Stars arrived aboard Air Tanzania TC 212 at 13h30 and checked in at Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka in time for Sunday’s friendly set for Woodlands Stadium at 15h00.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) general secretary Somoe Ng’itu is leading the delegation that is coached by Bakari Shime.
Zambia is using Sunday’s send-off friendly to prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand from July 20-August 20.
The Copper Queens will proceed to Germany where they will set-up an international camp to prepare for friendlies against the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland and Germany.
