Chipolopolo defender Aime Mabika has finally been cleared and has been issued with a Zambian passport.
The towering defender has now been issued with a Zambian passport which means he will be available for Chipolopolo selection.
FAZ secretary general Reuben Kamanga announced to the nation that United States defender Aime Mabika had secured Zambian citizenship during a Facebook live on the FAZ Facebook page.
The Lusaka born player featured for Zambia in the friendly matches against Congo Brazzaville and Benin last year in Antalya, Turkey.
The Toronto FC defender was named in coach Avram Grant’s provisional squad for the penultimate AFCON qualifier against Ivory Coast.
Grant and his team are currently in Johannesburg fine tuning the team ahead of the June 17th clash against the Elephants.
