Reigning CAF Women’s Footballer of the Year Barbra Banda will be joined by Racheal Kundananji as the duo go head to head against the Chawinga sisters – Tabitha and Temwa at Lusaka’s Woodlands Stadium.
Copper Queens host neighbours Malawi in a friendly with kickoff at 3 pm on Sunday.
They will will faceoff again on Tuesday in the final friendly match.
It will be the first time that Lusaka will host arguably four of the best female footballers.
While Zambia will have Banda and Kundananji on their roasters, fans at Woodlands Stadium will also keep tabs on the Chawinga sisters.
US based striker Temwa impressed last season for Kansas Current City and topped the #NWSL goal scoring charts ahead of Barbra Banda with 20 goals.
Tabitha, the older of the two sisters is one of the best players in Europe.
Position
Barbra Banda and Temwa are likely to start as lone strikers for their respective countries while Kundananji and Tabitha will be deployed on the wings.
