Green Eagles football club on Saturday afternoon returned to winning ways as they recorded a 1 nill win over bottom-placed Kitwe united in Kitwe.
The win came as good news for Tonka twende tactician, Aggrey Chiyangi who was coming from a 3-1 loss at home against the Green buffaloes football club in a mid-week game.
“For us it’s a very good result because we have been struggling to get a positive result, coming here and beating Kitwe is a plus for the team,” he said.
“We know well that Kitwe united is on the bottom of the table but they are playing very well but the only thing is maybe just scoring, ” the soft-spoken Chiyangi concluded.
The win takes the Choma-based outfit to 9th position with 28 points in the bag and only three points adrift of the top 4 teams.
