Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Lusaka Provincial side Progress Sport Club (PSC) prolific striker Suwilanji Chibesa is one of the players to watch out for this coming season.
Suwilanji recently earned herself a trip to the 2022 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Tournament held in Morocco as a ball girl as a result of her excellent ball juggling skills.
Suwilanji, a Grade 12 student at City of Hope Secondary School made her amazing appearance in the 2022 Lusaka District school ball games recently held in Kafue where Chilanga District scooped second position behind winners Lusaka.

She scored goals for Chilanga West Sector Girls Soccer Team for Schools and went on to be selected to feature for Chilanga District in the Inter-Districts ball games held in Kafue and she immediately announced her presence scoring a remarkable four goals.
Suwilanji was later selected to be part of the Lusaka Province Schools Sports Association (LPSSA) Under-17 Girls Team coached by her club gaffer Josephat Maimisa and the team emerged victorious in Kitwe bagging gold for the first time defying all odds and taking over the title which has been dominated by Southern Province.
Suwilanji is now getting ready to showcase her talent in the upcoming Lusaka Province (FAZ) Women’s League tentatively set to start next month with Progress Sports Club which has set very high targets and is determined to nurture this budding talent in the making.
