Sunzu helps Lille progress in league cup

Lille have continued their good run of form and this time scraped through to the quarter finals of the league cup with a 1 – 0 win over Ligue 2 side Laval.

Chipolopolo defender Stopilla Sunzu was at the heart of the Lille defence and played the entire game. Sunzu was back in the starting line-up having watched Lille’s last two games from the bench.

Lille have now won their last four games in all competitions.

In Romania, Fwayo Tembo was not on the team list for Astra when the log leaders lost 2 – 1 away against Dinamo Bucharest in a cup game.

In Greece, Rogers Kola and his team will be in action today in a cup game against lower league side Lamia.

  1. There is no sign of an expatriate coming to drill the team. I don’t see us going amywhere. From 2013 zambia has done nothing at all levels being eliminated in the group stage. Our pathetic performance culminated in the under 23 afcon. Not even a good performance at the useless chan competiton will make me feel better. I have a lot of anger and frustration in me.

  2. @ general true I believe all Zambians include those in diaspora should now consider giving HH a chance PF government has failed their performance is very poor. It is very clear for you to see.

  3. Whats going on with Fwayo now? Zamfoot could you please use your contacts to dig a little deeper and find out what is going on this time around.

Well done Sunzu, full game and a clean sheet will always build a coaches confidence in you. Do us a huge favour and stay in France don’t go back to China.

  4. The topic is about Sunzu s performance, why bring your HH in everything. Its because of you guys like john & general that I cant vote for him no matter what
