James Chamanga over the weekend scored a superb goal with his back to the goal to help his club Liaoning Whowin to a 2 – 2 home draw against Changchun Yatai.
Chamanga who was also booked in the 90th minute pulled one back in the 41st minute after the keeper had punched away but Zambian striker was quick to react as he looped the ball beyond the keeper who was stranded in no-mans land for the two teams to go to the break locked on 1 – 1.
This was Chamanga’s first goal in four appearances in the four match old season.
Elsewhere in the Chinese league, Stoppilla Sunzu’s Shanghai Shenhua relinguished first position for the first time this season to drop to fourth following their first loss of the season at the hands of Beijing Guoan who shot to the summit with the 2 – 0 win.
The Zambian international defender played the entire game.
Jacob Mulenga played his fourth match in the Chinese league but failed to find the back of the net again.
The lanky striker played as a lone striker for Shijiazhuang Yongchang in their 2-1 defeat to Jiangsu Guoxin-Sainty.
Shijiazhuang lined up defensively as they tried to avoid defeat having now gone three games without a win.
