The super league enters week 2 with games dotted across the country.
Champions Zesco United still await their opener after their game was again postponed as they have five players on national duty while a similar fate has befallen Green Buffaloes.
Cletus Chama, Jacob Banda and Mwape Mwelwa are with the Chipolopolo in Congo while other players who are part of the Zesco foreign legion have been called by their national team in kenya.
Christopher Katongo, Buchizya Mfune, Adrian Chama, Jack Chirwa and Stephen Kabamba are the Green Buffaloes players with the Zambia national team.
In the league, Kabwe Warriors make their 2016 league debut when they play Lusaka Dynamos at Nkoloma stadium while 2015 league runners-up Zanaco are back to league action after a successful two weeks of continental football when they complete the double header at Nkoloma with Lusaka Tigers in a local derby.
