The club sponsors Mopani Copper Mines confirmed in a statement that the deal was signed today (30th January, 2015) in Kitwe following the players return from his maiden AFCON appearance.

Sate Sate was previously linked with moves to the South African league with Platinum Stars having expressed interest  in the striker but the Egyptian’s have moved quickly to complete the deal.

He joins Felix Katongo who also plays in the Egyptian league.

  1. Don’t know how to feel about this move honestly. I think the Egyptian league is a lot more technical and tactical than SA, simply based on how I have seen the North African teams perform. Especially Egypt that pretty much ruled Africa with its army of locally based players.

I wish he went Israel or even East Europe like Armenia so he can start attracting bigger European leagues. I hope it works out and pray for his safety. North Africa has become really dangerous in football terms. With the incident of the Al Ahly fans getting killed some 2 years ago and the recent death of the Cameroonian Ebosse in Algeria. If it is working for Felix Katongo then hopefully should work for young Sate Sate.

  2. The best striker in zambia is Mayuka. There was a rumour real mallorca in the Spanish second division would give him a move away from the saints. He badly needs a move so he can recapture his lethal form. I’m hoping patson daka moves to Europe this year so we can have another lethal striker in our ranks as we prepare for Russia 2018. The job of national team should be advertised now and Janza should be dropped to the role of assistant

  3. Wadi Degla fc is a div1 in Egypt. Why is the boy going there? No money no good football. Just to go and watch CAF HQ? He would have just remain pa chilata.
Kalampa yalaba mu bwafya ino season. So many players have left. Those 5 gotten from FAZ division 1 side Konkola Mine Police can’t help the team.

  4. Good move and soon he will be making headlines on Zamfoot and other sports blogs, which will market him easily and make a biggest move ever.

  5. Zambia can’t score without Mayuka the boy is just lacking game time if he was fit zambia would have buried Tunisia. He should immediately leave southampton he is wasting his time there.

  6. Sate sate has made the right move this boy will be In europe. Lierse sk is the sister club to this wadi. Sate sate will be in Belgium if he shines.

  7. That team is 4th on the Egyptian Log.Good move.It will boost his technical aspect of the game,Probably regular football aswell. His done enough at Nkana,In my view,His been top scorer thrice.
