Salifyanji Mugala joins Little Rock Rangers SC

Former Zambia U-20 National Team winger Salifyanji Mugala has joined Arkansas based Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club. 

The team plays in the USL League Two, a national semi-professional league at the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid.

The club took to social media to confirm the arrival of the Zambian winger who has been steadily rising in the American Soccer system. 

Mugala told the ZamFoot Crew that it’s a good platform for him since the club is known for producing players for the top two Leagues in the Country. 

“I am really excited and Humbled to be part of this organisation and management because it’s a well known team here in the States that has produced players Abroad and in the MLS and USL and professional teams Overseas and National team Call ups . So it’s a good platform to showcase my talent,” he said. 

Mugala has set his sights on helping Little Rock Rangers win their League and also improve himself as a player. 

“My target with them is to help them Win the league and be a better version of myself and Just be a player that will put the team first and work hard on and off the field,” Mugala told the ZamFoot Crew from his base in the USA. 

Mugala also took the ZamFoot Crew through his journey in the past few years stating that it has not been easy balancing school and his studies. 

“The Journey has not been easy but with God all things are possible he has helped me persevere and be persistent with what I do. The past years here in USA has been good I have traveled to almost all of the states here in USA and that’s a privilege ,I can’t take that for guaranteed. I have been playing College Soccer For Bethel University Indiana for 3 seasons and last season we were Crowned National Champions in the country we lost 1 game and drew 1 game and won 24 games, This is a big accomplishment to anyone who plays college football who knows how big this Accomplishment is and being ranked number 1 (NAIA) in the country for me this is a big highlight in my college Career while being a double major In Business Management and Marketing and concentration in Finance (Accounting),” he said. 

“And onto my last year for me I give all the Glory to the most High God. And just to give HOPE to all the kids back home that all things are possible and especially if you put your mind and heart into it you can accomplish higher heights. Like Tom Hanks once said If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. It’s the hard that makes it great,” he added.
