The Chipolopolo Boys will this evening (Wednesday) take on Tanzania at the 15,000 capacity Amani Stadium in Zanzibar in a Group E FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Coach Avram Grant will be hoping to guide his side back to winning ways away in East Africa to keep the Copper Bullets World Cup dream alive though the chances are very slim.
At the back ZESCO United defender Kabaso Chongo is expected to continue and could again partner Benson Sakala on the heart of defense.
Chongo seems to have earned the trust of coach Avram Grant and in the absence of 2012 AFCON winner Stophila Sunzu, He provides the experience with his 34 Chipolopolo appearances.
Sakala returned to the Chipolopolo set up last month for the Morocco game after missing the last two 2025 AFCON qualifiers and the international friendly matches against Russia.
Sakala put in a full shift and is expected to continue with Kabaso Chongo alongside him to make up part of the back four.
Sudan based Obino Chisala is expected to continue at left back ahead of youngster David Hamansenya.

At right back skipper Lubambo Musonda will battle for a place with ZESCO United’s Gift Mphande for a place in the team.
Dominic Chanda, Frankie Musonda ,and Mathews Banda are also available for selection.
Both Tanzania and Zambia are hoping to bounce back from losses, Zambia lost to Morocco while the Taifa suffered a home loss to Niger and a will could consolidate their hold on Second place in Group E.
The Taifa Stars are second in the group on 10 points with Niger lying third on nine while Zambia has six in fourth place.
Morocco has already secured their qualification with 21 points while three teams in Group E still have a chance to finish second and hope for a place among the four best-placed teams to make it to the play-offs.
The match kicks off at 21h00 at the Amani Stadium and will be live on SuperSport.
