Red Arrows to face FC Rouge of Madagascar in CAF Preliminary round 

Zambian top club Red Arrows will face Rouge FC of Madagascar in the first preliminary round of the 2026 CAF Confederation Cup.

According to the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2026/27 draw conducted in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday, the airmen will host the Malagasy side on the window of 4-6 September before traveling away for the 11-13 September fixture.

The winner over two legs will face South Africa PSL side and 2021 CAF Champions League runners up, Kaizer Chiefs in the second preliminary round.

The second preliminary round fixtures have been set for 16-18 October for the first leg while the return leg will be from 23-25 October.

Arrows were last month awarded a CAF Club Licence for the 2026/27 season by FAZ, clearing the MTN Super League side to compete in continental football after meeting the Confederation of African Football’s mandatory licensing requirements.

The Airmen are returning to CAF interclub competitions for the first time since 2024 when they were eliminated in the CAF Champions League, second preliminary round by TP Mazembe of DR Congo, 4-1 on aggregate.
