Prison Leopards ring changes to their technical bench

National Division One side, Prison Leopards has reappointed Willy Chalwe as the head coach of the club.

The Kabwe based side confirmed the development in a statement posted on their official Facebook page as monitored by the ZamFoot Crew.

“The club wishes to announce to the general public about the reappointment of Willy Chalwe as head coach to take over from Coach Mwenya Chipepo who has been relieved of his duties. The new head coach will be assisted by Coach Frank Miti and the two have been tasked to look for a goalkeeper trainer as well as a physical trainer.”

According to the statement, the entire technical bench has been fired with the exception of team manager Supt Kebby Luchanga, kit master Ernest Musolo and the Medics team. This follows an emergency meeting held on Monday, 3rd February 2020 by the Club’s executive committee.

The Executive Committee meeting also decided on the formation of an advisory committee which will be headed by S/Supt Billy Petemoya as Chairman and ASP Rodwell Yolamu Snr as vice-chairman. The advisory committee will work for hand in hand with the technical bench to ensure the team bounces back to the Super league.

Prison Leopards will return to action this weekend with a week 24 brought forward fixture against town rivals Chindwin Sentries which will be staged at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.

Leopards are fifth on the log with 35 points seven adrift of log leaders Kitwe United.
