I will take it one step at a time… As Mayuka looks to add value to Napsa Stars

Napsa Stars’ new acquisition Emmanuel Mayuka says he already feels part of Napsa Stars family after his two weeks training with the Pensioners before penning a deal.

The 2012 AFCON winner says the players and technical bench have been very supportive of him and made him feel very welcome.

The former Southampton forward went on to say he will take it one game at a time and try as much as he can to help the Pensioners as they look to win the League.

“First and foremost am happy and excited to be here. I am grateful to be here without God anything could have not happened. From the Coach, Management and the players the support they have shown me am grateful just looking forward to starting working for the team with the rest of the guys,” he said.

” We are actually doing well am hoping I can add more value and stability to the team just to try to push forward as much as we can and try to win the league at the most. Let’s see how it goes but I will take it to step by step, One game at a time and will do my best to try and help the team.”

“It’s incredible actually the guys have been supportive and I feel like one of them already. Good guys, Everyone has been supportive, the coach and everyone from the technical bench.”

Mayuka reunites with coach Mohammed Fathi says it’s a good feeling to work together again. The 2012 AFCON golden boot winner went on to say he is ready to play once the coach feels he is ready.

” It’s a good feeling. He has seen me grow. He has always been supportive. He likes people who work hard so I know what I am getting myself into and I won’t take this lightly so I will keep on pushing,” he said.

“It’s up to the coach when he says I am ready, am ready, ” he added.

Mayuka penned a two year deal with the Pensioners and is expected to boost their already lethal strike force.
