Power Dynamos to hold ten day pre season camp in South Africa 

Reigning MTN Super League Champions, Power Dynamos will hold a ten day training in South Africa. 

Abayellow are scheduled to leave for Pretoria in South Africa tomorrow, Friday, 31st July 2026. They return to South Africa for a second year in row having done the same last year. 

The Zambian Champions spent 10 days in South Africa and played four friendly matches prior to the 2025/2026 season. 

The Kitwe based side suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Chili Boys in their first pre-season friendly match in South Africa.  They then beat Tuks United 1-0 thanks to Innocent Kashita’s lone  goal. Next was a 1-all draw against Sekhukhune United. 

Earlier today the Kitwe giants announced the acquisition of six new players led by Chadian striker Amine Hiver, Chipolopolo midfielder Wilson Chisala and former Zambia U20 national team defender Mathews Chabala.

Others are Kafunti Saisada who joins Abayellow from Trident FC, Midfielders  Marvin Omondi Nabwire, and Nsoh Fabrice Ndeh arrive from AFC Leopards (Kenya), and PWD Social Football Club (Cameroon), respectively.

Meanwhile, Power Dynamos have extended the contracts of midfielders Ronnel Manyanga, Salulani Phiri, Linos Makwaza Jnr, Innocent Kashita and striker Titus Chansa, as well as goalkeepers Lawrence Mulenga and Josphat Lilanda. Defenders Jackson Mulambia, and Kondwani Chiboni have also committed their futures to the Club after signing respective contract extensions.

Power Dynamos won the 2025/2026 MTN Super League, their ninth title after accumulating 78 points from 34 league games, it was also a second title in row. 

Dynamos will represent the country in the 2026/27 CAF Champions League and will be looking to build on the club history they made last season when they reached the group stages for the first time

Abayellow  remain the only Zambian club to have won a continental trophy, lifting the CAF Cup Winners’ Cup in 1991.
