The Kitwe based outfit were crowned Champions at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola following a final day 1-1 draw with Nchanga Rangers.

Lukeza Ange Sama put the hosts in the lead ten minutes into the match before Titus Chansa could level matters seven minutes later after connecting well with a beautiful Sekanji Siame cross.

Abayellow sealed the title with 20 wins, eight draws and only six draws in the 34 match season amassing 68 points, 5 more than ZESCO United who finished second.

Elsewhere, Atletico Lusaka were relegated to the National Division One following a 3-2 loss on the final day of the 2024/2025 MTN Super League season

Things moved from bad to worse for ZANACO as Angel Lubamba put the Airmen in the lead just six minutes into the second stanza.

ZANACO however got a life line in the 73rd minute as Ng’onga converted from the spot to level matters, at this point it was still ZANACO heading to the National Division One.

George Ngoma then emerged just ten minutes before the end of the match with a goal that sealed the win for Zega Mambo and the fate of Atletico Lusaka, sending them back to the National Division One League.

Despite ZANACO losing to Arrows 1-0, they survived thanks to their superior goal difference in comparison to Atletico Lusaka.
