Sensational ZANACO long-serving goalkeeper Racha Kola will bring his illustrious career to a close today. Kola will retire after playing his last game against Red Arrows, a fitting farewell as his opponent will also be bidding adieu to legendary striker James Chamanga.
Kola, who joined ZANACO in 2003 through the youth side Young ZANACO and graduated to the first team the same year, has been a stalwart “Bankers” player for 22 straight years ā a testament to his loyalty.
He holds the record for the most trophies won by a single player at Zanaco FC, with an impressive 12 titles.
His honors include:
– Six MTN Super League titles (2003, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2016)
– One Coca-Cola Cup (2004)
– Three Charity Shields (2003, 2006, 2019)
