MTN Super League defending Champions, Power Dynamos have returned home following the completion of their international pre-season camp.
The Zambian Champions spent 10 days in South Africa and played four friendly matches.
The Kitwe based side suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Chili Boys in their first pre-season friendly match in South Africa.
They then beat Tuks United 1-0 thanks to Innocent Kashita’s lone goal. Next was a 1-all draw against Sekhukhune United.
Austin Muwowo put Power Dynamos in the lead before Sekhukhune United equalized through Ohizu.
They concluded their outing with a routine 4-1 win over Upington City. Ronnel Manyanga, Moses Shumah, Austin Muwowo and Ishmael Ankobo scored a goal each.
Abayellow will continue their pre-season preparations at Arthur Davies Stadium for both the 2025/2026 CAF Champions League and MTN Super League season.
Power Dynamos won the 2024/2025 MTN Super League, their eighth title after accumulating 68 points from 34 league games.
Dynamos will represent the country in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League and will be looking to progress beyond the preliminary stages.
Abayellow remain the only Zambian club to have won a continental trophy, lifting the CAF Cup Winners’ Cup in 1991.
