MTN Super League Champions, Power Dynamos have secured their slot on the 2025/2026 CAF Champions League group stage following a 3-2 aggregate win over Ugandan Champions Vipers SC.
Abayellow and the Venoms played to a 1-1 draw at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Independence day.
Moses Shumah put Power Dynamos in the lead in the 69th minute but Karim Watambala levelled matters in the 80th minute to provide a very nervy ending to the encounter.
The Zambian Champions held on to secure a 3-2 aggregate win thanks to their 2-1 win away in Uganda in the first leg.
The draws for the Group Stages will take place on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 in the Supersport Randburg Studios in South Africa at 14:00 hrs local time.
Vipers SC, despite bowing out at this stage, will receive USD 100,000 (K2.2 Million Approximately) from the Confederation of African Football to cover their logistical costs.
Meanwhile Power Dynamos will earn an upward of K15,000,000 just by reaching the group stage.
