A lady warned for threatening to break Sakala’s legs

Police in Lusaka have warned and cautioned a 30 year old lady of Ibex Hill for allegedly hiring his young brother to break the legs of Glasgow Rangers Football Club striker Fashion Sakala

Zambia Police Assistant Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi says Police summoned Linet Kaoma who allegedly promised his young brother Ngosa Kaoma that she would give him 20,000 Kwacha if he broke the Chipolopolo striker’s legs.

Chilabi told ZNBC News that after interrogation, Police recorded a warn and caution statement from Ms Kaoma

Chilabi said the young brother to the suspect was promised a five thousand Kwacha down payment before committing the crime but he decided to report the matter to the Police.

Sakala was recently praised by his Rangers coach Micheal Beale.

Beale hailed the impact his forward players have had on his side with them showing a clinical edge in front of goal in recent weeks.

He explained: “I think there was a big urge for Fashion Sakala and Alfredo Morelos to play when I came in, because they hadn’t played much in the weeks prior to me coming in or regularly.

“We have given them that opportunity and they have rewarded the team

  1. I feel this story has come short. What was the reason/motive for all this? Was the brother supposed to Glasgow Scotland to do this or he was going to wait for Fashion to come after the season is over?
