Patson Daka scored to help Leicester City F.C. secure a 1-1 draw away to Ipswich Town F.C. in the EFL Championship on Saturday.
The Zambia national football team forward opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a well-taken volley from a free-kick delivered by Luke Thomas, giving the Foxes the lead in Suffolk.
However, the promotion-chasing hosts responded in the second half, with Sindre Walle Egeli finishing from close range with 14 minutes remaining to ensure the points were shared.
The goal takes Daka’s tally for the season to six goal contributions — three goals and three assists.
Despite the result, Leicester City remain in the relegation zone, sitting 22nd on the table with 35 points. The Foxes still have ten matches left to try and improve their position and avoid the drop.
