Fashion Sakala was on target and named Player of the Match as Al‑Fayha FC cruised to a commanding 5–0 victory over Al‑Okhdood Club in a Saudi Pro League encounter on Saturday evening.
The Zambia national football team forward scored the third goal, assisted the fourth, and produced an electric performance throughout the match to earn the official Player of the Match award.
Al-Fayha settled quickly at Prince Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Sport City Stadium in Najran and took the lead in the 11th minute when Sabri Dahal produced a sublime left-footed finish into the bottom right corner.
The visitors created several opportunities to extend their lead but had to wait until the 55th minute when Alfa Semedo connected well with a cross from Jason Remeseiro to make it 2–0.
Remeseiro was again involved six minutes later, combining neatly with Sakala in a quick one-two before the Zambian forward made a perfectly timed run into the box and finished calmly to score Al-Fayha’s third goal of the evening.
Sakala then turned provider, returning the favour by setting up Remeseiro, who finished from close range to make it 4–0.
Silvère Ganvoula completed the rout in stoppage time with a powerful header to seal an emphatic 5–0 win.
The victory lifts Al-Fayha to 10th place on the table with 30 points. Sakala has now registered 15 goal contributions in the Saudi Pro League this season, with 11 goals and four assists.
