Patson Daka starts on the bench against Nottingham Forest

Zambia National team forward has been named on the bench for Leicester City who host Nottingham Forest at King Power Stadium.

Daka missed the Chipolopolo Boys September FIFA international window friendly match against Mali in Bamako due to illness but seems to have recovered ahead of the Foxes tussle with Nottingham Forest.

Brendan Rogers has decided to start with Englishman Jamie Vardy upfront with Harvey Barnes and James Madison supporting him.

In midfield, Rogers has maintained the trio of Youri Tielemans, Wilfred Ndidi and Kieran Drewsbury Hall.

Ndidi has shaken off an injury to start. Ndidi’s international break was cut short as the Nigeria international returned to Leicester with a knock.

Danny Ward starts in goals with Timothy Castagne, John Evans, James Justin and Wout Faes make up the back four.

Nottingham Forest visit King Power Stadium to tackle Leicester City on Monday (9pm kick-off).

The Foxes were beaten by their local neighbours 4-1 at the City Ground in the the Emirates FA Cup last winter and have started the new Premier League campaign with six losses in seven games.
