Patson Daka leads Salzburg attack against Sturm Graz… Mwepu drops to the bench

Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka will once again lead Redbull Salzburg’s hunt for three points this evening when they square off with Sturm Graz at the 16700 capacity Merkur Arena.

Coach Jesse Marsch has made four changes to the team that thrashed TSV Hartberg 6-0 as Enock Mwepu drops to the bench.

Noah Okafor who partnered Patson Daka upfront on Sunday also drops to the bench as Hee-Chan Hwang returns.

Austrian goalkeeper Cican Stankovic maintains his place between the sticks with Max Wöber returning to the starting line up in place of André Ramalho with Albert Vallci, Andreas Ulmer and Jerome Onguéné completing the back four.

In midfield, Zlatko Junuzovic and Majid Ashmeru return to the starting line up, and Mohammed Camara and Enock Mwepu make way while Sekou Koita and Dominik Szoboszlai keep their places to complete a midfield quartet.

Patson Daka maintains his place and will partner Korea Republic forward Hee-Chan Hwang who started Sunday’s match on the bench.

Daka will be looking to continue the fine form that has seen him score seven goals and make one assist in his last five Austrian Bundesliga matches.

The 2017 CAF young player of the year has managed 21 strikes in the league overall and 24 in all competitions this season making him one of the most lethal young strikers outside the top five leagues in Europe.

The kick-off of the match is at 20:30 Central African Time.
