Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has been voted Austrian Bundesliga player of the season for 2020/2021 by Transfermarkt users.
The Leicester City star took to social media platform, Twitter to confirm the development.

Daka already clinched the official player of the season accolade and also secured the Sky Sport Award for his splendid performance in his last season at the Redbull Arena.
The Zambian striker scored 27 goals in 28 league games last season and also chipped in with seven assists ending the season as the top scorer in the Bundesliga and helping Redbull Salzburg to a league and cup double before making his switch to the English Premier League.
Daka penned a five-year deal with the 2015–16 English Premier League Champions in June, which will see him stay at King Power Stadium until June 2026.
Congrats to the young on another well-deserved award! Now let’s hope the fools running the British government will allow Daka and Mwepu to play in Zambia in the next round. Obviously they must beat EG twice and finish the double over Mauritania. Ultimately they will need to win in Tunisia, which is certainly possible if Daka and Mwepu both play. Its not easy to qualify to the world cup. Chipolopolo and faz needs to break jinx. For the past ten yrs Zambia is yet to surpass 12 points in any qualifier .. They are yet to win back to back with any team. Since the departure of king kalu chipolopolo is yet to qualify to any major tournament . Since take over the arm band from Chris katongo the are yet qualify. They have to break this . Plus history plays a big role in football. Tunisia they will celebrate after their back to back win against Mauritania.chambeshi and kamanga are in hiding , Only a miracle can take chipolopolo to the world cup.
