Al Masry coach Nabil Kouki says his side is wary of the fact that Zesco United is playing at home but will be confident of reaping maximum points.
And Mugisha Bonheur says the Egyptians are in Zambia to win.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference for the Group D CAF Confederation Cup match between Zesco United and Al Masry of Egypt, Kouki says the key to winning the match for his team would be maximum concentration.
“Zesco United is playing at home and they have some experience in CAF competitions but as Al Masry we will not lose sight of our target which is to get maximum points,” he says.
“To get the three points we need to concentrate and use our experience. Experience matters in these kind of games.”
And Bonheur says the players are not worried about Zesco’s impregnable home record against Egyptian sides but would be aiming for victory.
“We know that Zesco United is one of the big teams here in Zambia, but we are ready and looking forward to the game. We are coming here to play some good football and to win,” he says.
“We did not know that Zesco has never lost a match at home to Egyptian opposition but it is going to be a good game for both teams and hope we win.”
“I got a chance to watch them, they are a good team, they have home ground advantage but we are ready to win.”
Zesco United host Al Masry at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Friday in a Group D CAF Confederation Cup match which kicks off at 15h00.
