Roan United have been relegated from the FAZ MTN Super League with three games to play after they were beaten 1 – 0 by Indeni in a rescheduled week 27 fixture played in Kitwe today.
Norman Munthali scored the goal that made the difference in the game as veteran coach Fordsaon Kabole watched helplessly from the bench as his team slid down to the lower league with only 3 wins to to show for in 27 outings.
In what was a battle of the two bottom teams, Indeni did their chances of survival some good as they moved into 14th place on 27 points, with two points from safety.
Roan United on the other hand remained stuck rock bottom on 17 points and 12 points away from the last safe position.
