Numba happy with strides made in preseason so far

Zambia Super League giants, ZESCO United head coach Numba Mumamba is happy with the progress his team has been making during the off season. 

Mumamba told the club’s website that he is happy with the way the players are responding and he expects them to be ready before the season starts in about two weeks time. 

The gaffer is also happy with the way the newcomers are coming up and finding their feet at the club.

“We are making a lot of progress by the day. The players are responding well to what we are telling them as such we are confident they will be ready before the start of the new campaign,” Numba told ZESCO United media.

“The recent friendlies have given us a lot of opportunities to see where we need to improve. I am also delighted that the newcomers are slowly finding their feet at the club.”

ZESCO United open their 2022/23 league calendar with an away fixture to Prison Leopards on Saturday, 20th August.

The Ndola based outfit finished second on log last season and will represent Zambia in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
