Klings Kangwa’s Red Star Belgrade off to Yerevan for UCL return leg

Zambian midfield ace Klings ‘Mature’ Kangwa and his Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) teammates are off to Yerevan, Armenia ahead of tomorrow’s second leg  third qualifying round against Pyunik Yerevan. 

Red Star lead 5-0 on aggregate from the first leg. 

Kangwa who has been a revelation in Serbia since his switch from Russian side Arsenal Tula is part of the 21 players coach Dejan Stankoviç has summoned for this match.

The Zambian international marked his UEFA Champions League qualification debut with a goal and provided two assists.

The Happy Hearts product and Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari are again expected to be the key players for the Red Whites.

Kangwa has now scored three goals and assisted three in the five games he has played in all Competitions so far.

Last week Kangwa’s goal in Red Star Belgrade’s 6-0 win over FK Radnik Surdulica in a Mozzart Bet Superliga encounter was voted as the best goal of July by the club.

Pyunik will host Belgrade at the Vazgen Sargisyan Republican Stadium on Tuesday evening with the kick off set at 19:00 CAT.
