The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has refuted claims that Nora Hauptle has signed a two-year contract with Zambia to lead the Copper Queens.
According to the GFA, Hauptle is still under contract until the end of the year.
In a twist fit for a football drama, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has firmly denied the swirling rumors that Nora Hauptle has signed a two-year contract with Zambia to coach the Copper Queens.
Sheikh Tophic Sienu, the GFA’s Deputy Communications Director, humorously put an end to the speculation, stating that Nora Hauptle is still firmly tethered to Ghana until the end of 2024. “Sorry Zambia,” he quipped, “Nora’s still got a full plate with us for now!”
So, while Zambia fans might be dreaming of a future with Hauptle, they’ll have to wait until the final whistle of 2024.
