Zesco who carry a 4 – 1 lead into the second leg play on Sunday evening, (kick off at 1900hrs) while the national team will be in action in Ndola on Wednesday.

Four players from Zesco United, goalkeeper Jacob Banda defender Dauti Musekwa, midfielders Mwape Mwelwa and Clatous Chama have been named in the Chipolopolo squad and are expected to be part of the team that will play Congo Brazaville.

  1. This is why a national team coach shouldn’t be allowed to coach both the national team and at Club level at the same time. Conflict of schedule will always happen. It’s unfair to both the national team and the club.

  2. No one on this earth can kill two birds with one stone imwe Bantu.Zesco should elevate their assistant coach and let Lwandamina concentrate on the national team.if we are going to continue with this arrangement I see both teams failing to pass through these stages.

  3. This is when you can say fyaisova . Lwandamina can take a breather as Zesco are in a commanding lead against the Guineans. So just concentrate with national team boss.

  4. Ba Don I don’t trust our clubs kuti tulemona kwati nafi isova but when we go there you will be shocked ukuya fwa 4-0.

  5. Chicken shud quit the national team nd focus on Zesco, atleast thr they pay and giv contracts unlike sumwere. The chicken needs money for stockfeed ka. MuZambia tabatasha ask Kalu or Chris?#jst gonna leave it rite here.

  6. LWANDAMINA SHOULD BE COURAGEOUS ENOUGH TO RELEASE THE LIKES OF JACOB BANDA, DAUTI MUSEKWA AND MWAPE MWELWA WHO I THINK FACE STIFF COMPETITION FROM MWEENE, NKAUSU AND KALABA RESPECTIVELY, SO THAT THEY CAN HELP THIER CLUB IN THE CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE RETURN FIXTURE WHICH IS EQUALLY VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE NATION..I DONT SEE ANY REASON WHY HE SHOULD HOLD ON TO THE PLAYERS IF HE WONT USE THEM…AS FOR CLAOTUS CHAMA, I THINK THE BIY IS READY TO COMMAND A STARTING PLACE IN THE TEAM AND COMPETE WITH THE LIKES OF LUBAMBO MUSONDA…I Would prefer CHAMA in my starting line up due to his exceptional set peace delivery as compared to others who are wasteful. ..

  7. Really? How can a national team coach be in charge of a local club side as well. Misplaced priorities if you ask me… This is done nowhere but IN ZAMBIA… Smh. Is FAZ that broke to hire a coach solely for the Zambian national team?

  8. Let him rest with or without him zesco can loose no need to make noise here FAZ and zesco have matured people to deal with such issues for your own information assistant coach is a coach also adheres head coach s directives

  9. I dont understand why chicken had to stay, then when zesco looses then they will be in forefront condemning zesco.ifan kawri can take care of the national team though this is a 50 50 saga

  10. Zamfoot, the headline should have read PRIORITY not the word PRECEDENCE. Precedence means something else. Please check it and correct it. Thank you. Otherwise, we wish Zesco a great outing, go and finish the job. We are behind you all the way.

synonyms for precedence: Priority, pre-eminence, rank, seniority, superiority, primacy, first place, pride of place, eminence, supremacy, ascendancy, preference

  11. @D4 You are correct the right word to have been used is priority and not precedence.

Why is FAZ failing to hire a Proffessional Coach? Is it the issue of money? This Karim guy assisting at National team I have never heard of him. What are his credentials? Someone please school me.

  12. this is just one of the reasons Kalusha & friends must be shown the exit this saturday.soccer fans are tired of “double tobela” business,we need serious people at football house. Please BA ZESCO get your lwandamina back and let FAZ find a coach.

  13. PRECEDENCE and PRIORITY have different meanings. Priority has to do with something being or having been considered to be more important than the other

Precedence on the other hand is action or event that could be used as an example if a similar situation occurred. Court cases where judgment has been passed can act as a precedence should a similar case be brought forward before the court of law

In the above headline Priority should have been the correct word
