High Flying Nkwazi have announced the acquisition of five new players barely a week to the start of the 2023/2024 MTN Super League season.
The Zambia Police Sponsored outfit has acquired the services of four players on loan and one on a permanent basis.
Former Zambia U-17 National Team duo of midfielder Julius Kumwenda and defender Onessimus Chipango have joined Nkwazi on loan from Atletico Lusaka and Shamuel respectively.
The duo have penned season long loan deals with the Oswald Mutapa coached outfit.
Chilanga Stars duo of goalkeeper Luka Mainza and winger Brian Masanyinga have also joined on season long loan deals.
Meanwhile striker Desmond Nyirenda has joined on a permanent basis penning a two year contract with the Police sponsored outfit.
Mutapa has put faith in youngsters and the acquisition of the five players seems to continue on the same path.
