Nkana visit Nkwazi staring at relegation

Troubled Super Division record champions Nkana FC are slowly being sucked into relegation waters and will need to change their fortunes immediately with relegation already staring in their face.

Having played six games without a win Nkana are 3 points outside the relegation zone and could start the week in the bottom four if Nchanga Rangers win away at Zanaco and they lose to Nkwazi.

Despite changing coaches before the midway point, Nkana have continued to look less than impressive. Aggrey Chiyangi was given the luxury of making changes to his team but he has not done much to impress the Wusakile faithful with his tactics.

With only four wins in 17 games, Kalampa are fighting the battle on the wrong end of the table and look like serious relegation contenders with their form in the last six games only comparable to that of National Assembly who are second from bottom.

However, with Joseph Musonda, Walter Bwalya, Simon Bwalya, Jacob Keli, Donashano Malama, Osman Kamil, Francis Kasonde, Freddie Soutra, to mention but a few talented players in their ranks, the Kalampa fans remain optimistic that Kalampa will not face them shame of relegation which saw them only return to the elite league in 2007 after four season in Division 1.

Nkana this weekend play away against a stubborn Nkwazi side which has stuck in the top four against all odds and have only lost once in the last eight games winning three times.

Regardless of the form Nkwazi is in, Chiyangi knows that he has to pick maximum points or he may start facing the wrath of the impatient Nkana fans who have shown a lot of patience so far.
