Nkana visit Forest in search of back-to-back wins

With four Week 8 matches postponed after FAZ allowed fixtures to be rescheduled due to player engagement with the U23 and senior teams, it will mainly be the bottom half of the table that will active this weekend.

Fresh from a morale boosting 1 – 0 win over town rivals Power Dynamos, Nkana FC will visit Forest Rangers hoping to record back to back wins for the first time this season.

Nkana will not have captain Donashano Malama who is suspended after picking a red card in the local derby and is currently with the national team, but Beston Chambeshi has enough ammunition to dispose of Forest Rangers who are in the relegation zone.

Bottom placed Nakambala Leopards travel to Lusaka seeking their first win of the season but they will have a lot to do to beat a Lusaka Dynamos side which is looking to sail away from the relegation zone as they are only out of the troubled waters on goal difference.

13th placed Nchanga Rangers travel to Lusaka to play National Assembly who are third from bottom. Rangers have not won a game since match day one when they beat Forest Rangers and the absence of coach Fighton Simukonda who is engaged with the U23 national team may continue to weigh against them. With reports of non payment of players and players boycotting training, Rangers may be facing a long trip back home.

Green Eagles and konkola Blades, both on 10 points face off at Independence Stadium in Choma. Eagles who only recorded their first loss last week against Red arrows will be hoping to bounce back from the loss.
