Chipolopolo coach, Honour Janza has a full compliment of players called to camp for Sunday’s international friendly game against Malawi.
As of yesterday all the foreign based players who were being expected had joined camp and participated in full training.
Captain Rainford Kalaba and his TP Mazembe team mates Kabaso Chongo and Given Singuluma were the last to join the team.
The technical bench has also roped in Green Buffaloes goalkeeper Fred Silwamba to the squad. This was after Power Dynamos goalie Joel Kanyemba failed to make it to camp after he was reported to have been taken ill.
And the Malawi national team has arrived in the country.
The Young Young Chimodzi coached arrived yesterday for the match to be played at Nkoloma stadium.
Its a friendly but the chipolopolo are allowed to be in a murderous mode

Guys, hold your horses. If players are available, why not call them? Honour Janza has not had any no pressure games to fully assess the team. He took over in the middle of qualifiers, then it was AFCON. Let him bring in who is available so that when the time comes, there will be no excuses.
Good point sir. Just that it beats logic to have pros in this match given that they won’t participate in the cosafa games. And shouldn’t this have been an opportunity for locals to showcase what they have to offer? If you remember very well we once used to have a legion of “proper professionals” but we also returned a very good crop of outstanding locals which we called Zambia B. That’s what we should be aiming achieving with our local lads. Build their confidence by giving them a platform.
Why didn’t Brazil beat Zambia 10-0 with the squad missing three key player? This is football guys and Malawi will also be there to prove a point.

It will not be well if we lose to Malawi ths time arnd.I just checked the record,they hv bn beating us in most games of late.Anythng less than a 5-0 win wl b taken as a loss for me.
Now it is ba chi were next the Twansas there after the Sothos and then we meet the dreaded Red Devils of Congo,why not comeup with formidable sides even if we play against a local Nigeria or Ghana select side we learn something out that unlike these Cosafa sides.
Thinking that we will beat Malawi by more than 3 goals is just a dream. Malawi will give Chipolopolo a good game and those of you thinking of a 4,5 or 6 score line will be disappointed. Proove me wrong after the game tomorrow.
