Nkana FC have sacked head coach Beston Chambeshi and his assistant Linos Makwaza and have appointed former Zanaco mentor Aggrey Chiyangi.
According to information received by the ZamFoot Crew, Chiyangi has been given a two year performance based contract and will be assisted by Zeddy Saileti who coached the 2013 champions as care taker after the demise of Masauso Mwale last year.
Chiyangi, a licenced CAF instructor was until his appointment Technical Director at Zanaco.
Saileti on the other hand was fired by Nkana earlier this season after it was alleged that he and Gift Kampamba did not have a good working relationship with Chambeshi.
Chambeshi who has been head coach for barely 11 months leaves Nkana in 8th position on 13 points with his last game having been a humiliating 3 – 0 defeat at the hands of newly promoted Lusaka Dynamos.

As usual firing and hiring of coaches. I saw it coming, anyway. Kalampa!
Now they have realised that they had earlier fired a wrong man – Zeddy Saileti? We call that incompetence my team please.
Good move kalampa GOGO
This sacking is long overdue after a not inspiring start to the season and it also shows the poor decision made by the Nkana executive by not maintaining Zeddy and Gift Kampamba after the demise of Coach Masauso.
I wish Aggrey Chiyangi and Zeddy Saileti all the best in re igniting our waning soccer standards at Kalampa in the short term and also restoring our lost glory on the Zambian soccer scene and beyond.
Sorry ba quick silver but the team is big than an individual.hop ba chiyangi wil do some thing better otherwise ….pa Nkana yalikaba. All the best.I think no uyu batila coach wa ba zambia janza should follow ba beston.we were humilitated by a minnow team awe lelo natufwilwa nokuya out ku windhoek,ni take away only.
All the best CHIYENGI
It was always going to come to this after that 3-0 drubbing am sure even Beston saw it coming
Finally the Executive have realised that Beston was not the man for Nkana, All the best to chiyengi and Zeddy
Not sure whether Chiyangi is the right replacement either. On Chambeshi I said it from the begining that he would flop!
Nkana should have done better in as far as who should replace Chambeshi is concerned .
