Zambia Super League side, Nkana has completed the acquisition of Tanzanian striker Eliud Ambokile and Ivorian attacking midfielder Djeni Kouassi Hugues Rufin Gnanzou formerly of San Pedro and TP Mazembe.
The duo takes the list of new players at Nkana to four after the unveiling of Emmanuel Mbola yesterday and Zimbabwean defensive midfielder Tichaona Chipunza.
Ambokile is expected to be a solution to Nkana’s striking woes as the strikeforce have only managed one goal in seven games. The 27 year old will have to battle for places with Emmanuel Mwiinde and Simon Mulenga.
Djeni was initially supposed to sign in late January but the paperwork became an issue.
The 26 year old left footed midfielder is expected to give Kaindu more creative options in the middle of the park.
The duo made their debut this afternoon as Nkana played out to a two all draw with Green Buffaloes in a rescheduled week 22 encounter at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
