Ngulube heads back to Mufulira as Munthali case drags on

The FAZ player status committee has ruled in favor of Mufulira Wanderers in the disputed ownership of midfielder Jacob Ngulube.

Nkana claimed that they had signed Ngulube on a four year deal from Damiano Academy owner in November while Wanderers also produced documentation that he had only served one year of his four year contract at Shinde stadium.

However, according to the ruling after the committee sat on Tuesday, Ngulube will be heading back to Mufulira despite the lucrative deal offered to him by Nkana.

Ngulube over the weekend featured for Nkana in a pre-season four club tournament played in Lusaka.

On the on-going case of Chris Munthali, the committee adjourned the case after they summoned the player to appear before the sitting on Wednesday.

“The Committee has deliberated over the case and feels that the player should also be heard in this issue and has since decided to call Mr Munthali. He will appear tomorrow at fourteen hours” Association Spokesman, Nkweto Tembwe said.

It is widely expected that Nkana will again be found wanting in this case after Power Dynamos disputed the club’s signing of the Chipolopolo defender who this week tried to terminate his contract by writing a resignation letter to Power Dynamos.

  1. Nkana fc is very desperate!! But the methods they are using are crooked ways.we can’t bring wusakile methods into a professional league.

  2. If Nkana is found wanting in both cases they should be disciplined …ban them for two seasons in which they won’t buy any player ….like in Spain

They are using the jabes mvula methods where they wud go to kafue at midnight. Pack all the belonging s for Kelvin mutale and shift him at night…with nitrogen fc to discover in the morning that there player is in kitwe..

  3. Nkana should stop using stone age tactics to steal players from other teams. This modern day football were all the deals are done by the book. Its teams like Nkana who are taking the development of the Zed game backwards. FAZ needs to take serious action..

  4. Good move. The warning must also go to Mr.Damiano for his double standards in dealing with this case.I remember him saying that Ngulube was just on loan Ku mighty that’s why he decided to sell him to Nkana. You like sana ka ngwee!
