With the football Association of Zambia having recently announced the milestone achievement of having the FAZ/EDEN University National League on Zambia’s national broadcaster ZNBC TV 3, teams like Kansanshi Dynamos who will be among the first to be shown live had to up their game and convince their die-hard fans to get on the road and make that long trip to Lusaka to cheer their team.
On Wednesday during the week 7 matchday encounter, Kansanshi Dynamos came up against Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy, both teams were relegated from the super league last season and on paper, this promised to be a cracker of a match.
Kansanshi Dynamos started the game like a team that is determined to get back to the super league scoring two quick goals in the first half through Matthews Maleka and Congolese striker Eric Yema.
The Beston Chambeshi coached side continued inflicting pain on their opponents in the second half when Eric Yema converted from the penalty stop with Daniel Chama rounding up the scoreline.
In the other games played on Wednesday, Kafue Celtic came up against the rejuvenated MUZA FC at OYDC, and the game surely did not disappoint as both sides hit each other punch for punch but Muza went down after some sloppy defending which allowed Christopher Bwalya to pounce on a loose ball.
