National Assembly Football Club has continued to keep their momentum in the Provincial league campaign on their quest to return to the National Division One.
Assembly have maintained their place on third position of the Lusaka Provincial Division One League with an impressive unbeaten run after 6 matches played so far.
The Parliamentarians who were relegated from the EDEN University/FAZ National League last season, maintained their good form with an impressive 1-0 win over Happy Hearts, Thanks to John Zyambo who has kept on getting them important goals to keep them 2 points behind leaders Riflemen who are now on 14 points after their 1-0 win over Chilanga Stars at Green Square through Edgar Tembo’s goal.
Meanwhile at Crested Crane Academy, Shamuel Academy hosted Atletico Lusaka and the two teams played out to a 1 all draw.
First half Gladson Lungu goal for the home side was canceled in the second half by Tryson Banda to share the points.
Chirundu United’s 1-0 win over Paramilitary which is their first win of the season, has given them some energy to fight on to escape the red zone as they are now just on the door step on position number 15 with 6 points.
On the other side, Sable Bulls, Nampundwe and State House are settling well in the abys as their woes continue to deepen.
Their efforts of leaving the relegation zone early are still going in vain as they have continued to drop points week in week out and yet to register a win in this campaign.
