Zambian midfielder Nathan Sinkala was on Saturday afternoon on target for his Congo DR side TP Mazembe in their 2 – 0 away win against Ecofoot Katumbi.
Of the three Zambian players playing at Mazembe, only Sinkala was named in the starting eleven with Rainford Kalaba on the bench. Kabaso Chongo did not make the team.
Meshack Elia opened the scores early in the game before the former Green Buffaloes holding midfielder made it two on 35 minutes from a corner kick.
Sinkala who has of late been overlooked for national team duty did not last the length of the match as he was substituted in the 67th minute.
The win takes Mazembe the CAF Confederations Cup Champions 7 points clear on top of the log.
