NAPSA Stars football club will this afternoon be involved in a Lusaka derby as they take on Lusaka Dynamos in an MTN/FAZ super league week 18 encounter at Woodlands Stadium.
Speaking to the ZAMFOOT Crew team Physiotherapist Nimrod Musongwa confirmed that the Mohamed Fathi tutored side is injury-free and everyone is available for selection this afternoon.
“So far so good, actually we are coming out from a phase where we had a lot of injuries and it’s exciting to say that all the players we had on the injury list are now training with the team in normal training sessions and are expected to play depending on the coach’s choices,” he said
Midfielder magician Enock sabamukama who missed the last match due to a strain has also returned.
“Enock has come back last week we sidelined him because of the strain he had it was more like a recut from the previous injury he had so we managed him and this week he has trained with the rest of the team,” Musongwa concluded.
Meanwhile, the pensioners’ skipper Dickson Chapa says he is expecting a highly tactical match and was quick to mention that his team will do its best.
“Yeah tomorrow (today), we are expecting a very interesting game, a much tactical game because Lusaka Dynamos are a very tactical team but since we will be at home we will try to work very hard and utilize the home advantage and collect maximum points because our focus has shifted from CAF Confederation Cup to the local league so we have to start collecting maximum points in the League,” Chapa said.
Napsa is in position 14 on the log with 18 points same as 17th placed Young Green Eagles but have a better goal difference.
In the past 3 games, they have drawn 2 times winning once whilst their opponents, Lusaka Dynamos have 30 points from 18 games sitting on position 3 on the League table with 2 wins and a draw in the past 3 games.
