Mwape Musonda on target …Action for Gamphani Lungu and Lubambo Musonda

On Sunday Mwape Musonda was the only player on the score sheet among those in action.

It has been a very productive weekend for foreign-based Copper Bullets with goals from Klings Kangwa, Patson Daka, Emmanuel Banda, and Edward Chilufya.

Sunday round-up:

In South Africa, Mwape Musonda scored the first goal of the game as Black Leopards beat Eric Tinkler tutored Maritzburg United 3-2 on Sunday.

The goal was Musonda’s sixth of the 2019/2020 PSL season.

Elsewhere, Gamphani Lungu came from the bench to play the last 34 minutes in Supersport United 1-1 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic.

In Poland, Winger cum-defender, Lubambo Musonda who had suffered an injury towards the end of the season, has shaken it off and again started at right-back for Slask Wrocław.

Lubambo put in an impressive 120-minute shift but unfortunately, his team suffered a 4-1 loss on penalty shootouts after a 2-2 and subsequently knocked out of the Polish Cup Fortuna in the round of 32.

Musonda and his Wrocław teammates return to action next weekend as they begin their Polish Ekstraklasa campaign at home against Piast Gliwice.
