official: Chris Mugalu joins Simba SC

Congolese forward Chris Mushitmba Kopa Mugalu has completed his switch to Tanzanian giants Simba SC from Lusaka Dynamos. Simba SC has confirmed the development on their official website.

Mugalu joins former teammate Clatous Chota Chama who left Lusaka Dynamos in 2018 to join Wekundu wa Msimbazi. Mugalu has reportedly penned a three-year deal.

Mugalu is the second player from the Zambia Super League who has joined Simba SC within 24 hours following the announcement of Larry Bwalya’s signing yesterday.

Mugalu is the seventh player Simba has acquired since the season came to a close. The other is Kenyan defender Joash Onyango, Winger Bernard Morrison, and Tanzanian trio of David Kameta, Charles Ilamfia, and Ibrahim Ame.

Mugalu was the top goalscorer in 2017 with 21 goals and has been among the best strikers in the Zambian league for the last five years.
