Kabwe Warriors recorded their third win of the season on Sunday as they edged record 13 time Champions, Nkana 1-0.
The MTN Super League continued on Sunday with a big match as strugglers Nkana and Kabwe Warriors went head to head.
It was Numba Mumamba’s first assignment since his appointment as Kabwe Warriors boss.
Akakulubelwa Mwachiaba converted from the penalty spot after Patrick Gondwe fouled a Warriors player in the box to hand the magnificent People’s team a second win in as many games.
The win was Kabwe Warriors’ first at home against Nkana since 2010 when they edged the Kitwe giants by a similar margin.
The win takes Kabwe Warriors to 16th place with 19 points while Nkana remain in 15th with 20 points.
