Muza stun Warriors, Kansanshi demolish Buildcon

Maestro United came from a goal down to record a famous 2-1 win over Kabwe Warriors in a Zambian Super League match on Sunday.

In a lunch time kickoff at Kabwe’s Godfrey Ucar Chitalu, Champions Red Arrows and Prison Leopards played out to a 1-1 draw.

Conlyde Luchanga made a scoring return to Kabwe but his goal was cancelled in the second half.

In the second game, Kilian Kanguluma gave Warriors a lead in the 19th minute.

Substitute Bob Angwenga Kadimu scored a stunning goal to equalise for Muza before striker Andrew Phiri wrapped up the win for the Mazabuka based side.

Elsewhere Buildcon’s woes continued with another defeat.

The Nchimunya Mweetwa coached suffered a 4-0 home defeat to Kansanshi Dynamos.

  1. The Muza coach is very intelligent, he simply changed the Warriors bench and players became confused! Unlike most top coaches in Zambia who fail to read games, Muza coach is very good at it. His future is bright. He just changed from high balls to low balls and the aged Warriors players could not see how balls were passing in between their rugged legs! And it was all over for Warriors!
