Former Power Dynamos trio of Mukuka mulenga, Lawrence Chungu and Allan Chibwe are currently training with Mighty Mufulira Wanderers the ZamFoot Crew understands.
The trio have been training with the legendary Cup winners for the last two months ZamFoot Crew sources in Mufulira have revealed.
“Yes, the trio is training with Mighty Mufulira Wanderers. I think the coach is looking at adding experience to his side,” the source said.
Mukuka Mulenga who is nicknamed Deco was a key part of the Power dynamos side that won the league back in 2011. He was voted as the Superleague player of the year in 2012 and also won the 2013 COSAFA Cup under Herve Renard.
He then made his switch to the South Africa PSL joining Mamelodi Sundowns. At Sundowns Mukuka struggled to establish himself and was sent out on loan to Bloemfontein Celtic for the 2014/15 season.
In 2016 he was again sent on loan to Mpumalanga Black Aces ( now Cape Town City) having been deemed surplus to requirements at the Brazilians.
Mukuka returned to the Zambia Super League back in 2019 rejoining Abayellow.
Lawrence Chungu has been active in the Zambia Super League for over a decade playing the majority of his club career with Power Dynamos.
Chungu has also played for former Money bags Buildcon, ZANACO and NAPSA Stars.
Meanwhile Allan Chibwe who was Zambia’s goalkeeper at the 2021 African Nations Championships (CHAN) tournament has also previously played for ZANACO, Nkana , Green Eagles and Forest Rangers.
With the January transfer window just a few days away coach Tenant Chilumba could add the trip to his roster within weeks ahead of the second half of the season.
Mufulira Wanderers are currently 10th on the MTN Super League table with 24 points.
