The Spear Girls, Mungwi Hotspurs Girls, and Hope Queens recorded their first wins of the inaugural campaign while Merced United, Kasama United Ladies, and Malole Systemizers Queens suffered their first defeats of the season.
Mpanji Queens eased past Kasama United Ladies with an emphatic 3-0 win while Merced United was handed a humiliating 5-1 bashing by Munthali Queens.
Mungwi Hotspurs Queens were the big winners this weekend as they mercilessly thrashed ZNS Green Eagles Queens 6-1 in their backyard.
Pride Stars’ Kasongo Mary is the current leading scorer with 7 goals in just three matches. A total of 49 goals has been scored so far in the league.
